It Was Only September

Hi, my name is . I've written a feature-length screenplay titled It Was Only September. It focuses on Abel, a recent immigrant to the United States, who struggles with school, work, love, and his misconceptions of the American Dream that lead him down a dark path. 

 

I've shot a scene from the feature that shows Abel on a date with Saba, his love interest in the film. The two, though share the same culture, have differing viewpoints on how best to assimilate into American culture.
